The 4 best online survey sites

Taking online surveys for money is a great way to pull in a little bit of extra income during your downtime. It is not crazy to make an extra $25-$200 per month by taking surveys while standing in line, riding to work, laying around the house or sitting in that other room where we spend a few uninterrupted minutes each day. The biggest factor for success at taking surveys for money is to find the best online survey sites that legitimately have enough surveys to take and will pay you decent money when you complete those surveys. If you already understand the basics of taking online surveys and the tips and tricks to succeed, then it is time to find the best online survey sites for you to spend your time on, which I’ve detailed below based on my experience and the experience of other stealthy and wealthy readers.

Best online survey sites

Taking online surveys can yield quick, easy money in your spare time

Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research is probably the most legit and reputable of all of the online survey sites. They do not offer surveys as frequently as the others, but they pay a standard $3.00 per survey and will mail you a check or pay you through Paypal. Pinecone surveys are usually giving feedback on products, packaging or concepts for new products that will be coming to market. They can be very interesting to see what products certain brands are considering releasing. I have even received product in the mail from Pinecone to try out after completing a survey. Typically, you can take 2-5 surveys per week, which take about 5-15 minutes to complete and pay $3.00 per survey. Check out my Pinecone Research review, or go to PineconeResearch.com to apply.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is a unique site because they offer so much more than just surveys. You can earn “Swagbucks” (1 Swagbuck = $0.01) by completing a number of activities. These include taking surveys (typically 25 – 200 SB per survey), watching videos, playing games, or shopping online. It is known mostly as a cash-back app, but they nearly always have surveys available and you can easily make $5-$25 per day for completing surveys. Swagbucks can be redeemed for a number of different gift cards, Paypal or sweepstakes entries. You can read about taking Swagbucks surveys for money or  sign up by clicking here.

iPoll

iPoll is one of the easiest and most user-friendly survey sites out there. While some of their surveys can be hard to qualify for, they have a ton of them. You can pretty much open up iPoll any time and take a quick survey to earn a buck or two. Most of their surveys range from $0.50 to $3.00 although you can find some on the higher and lower end. Like other survey sites, they pay through Amazon or iTunes gift cards as well as Paypal. You can sign up by going to iPoll.com.

Toluna

Toluna is a very quick and easy option for taking surveys. They are one of the more established online survey companies and are a huge global company. I would consider them one of the best online survey sites, but their typical survey pays less than many of the other competitors. Their mobile app makes it very easy to take surveys quickly from anywhere and they offer payment through multiple options like the other online survey options. You can register by signing up at Toluna.com.

Getting started with the best online survey sites

There are a few things to consider when starting to take surveys online for money. Since you are trading your time for relatively small amounts of money, you will want to make sure that you are as efficient with that time as you can be. I would recommend signing up for one or two of the sites and trying out their desktop and mobile applications. See what you are comfortable with. See what surveys you qualify for. After a while, I would narrow it down to the one or two sites that you like the most, then try to optimize your time by selecting the surveys that pay the most per hour.
